As the Commander of the College Park Barrack, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our newly updated homepage. I was recently appointed as the Commander of the College Park Barrack and I am very pleased to be working with the fine men and women of Barrack "Q".

We are located in Prince George's County, Maryland. Prince George's is one of the two Maryland counties that border Washington, DC. According to the most recent statistics Prince George's County is home to over 776,000 residents of all ethnic backgrounds. In addition over 300,000 people work in the County. To improve our relationship with the community, Barrack "Q" relies on an Advisory Committee. This committee is comprised of representatives from the Metro Transit Agency, the Prince George's County Police Department, the Prince George's County Fire Department, the College Park City Council and the University of Maryland. The Advisory Committee meets regularly to discuss matters of community interest with which the State Police can help, such as traffic and safety issues.
